On Saturday last, our Minor Camogie team played Mungret/St Paul's with a place in the County Semi-Final at stake. The game was played in very windy conditions. The girls put in a great effort and led 5pts to 2pts at half-time. Mid-way through the 2nd half, Mungret levelled the game but our girls fought back and took the lead again, until an injury-time free for Mungret took the game to extra-time. A goal from Anna Rose Benson put us in a great position and we went in 4pts up at half-time. Mungret brought the game back to 3pts, but a brilliant free from Caitlin Ryan on the sideline sealed a 4pt victory. We now play Bruff at home on Sunday 17th at 11am in the County Semi-Final.
