Safe Guarding

Thank you to all our coaches who volunteer and give their time. A gentle reminder that all coaches are required to ensure their safe guarding / Garda Vetting is up to date in advance of coaching sessions commencing. If in doubt check it out.

Limerick

The Limerick senior hurlers had a comfortable win over Antrim on Sunday in Thurles, winning 1-36 to 1-9. While the result never looked in doubt it was a proud day for Na Piarsaigh with Emmet McEvoy making his competitive Limerick debut. Emmet saw out the final few moments coming off the bench after the 60 minute mark. Conor Boylan also featured, playing the first 35 minutes.

Schools Hurling

Ardscoil Rís were denied victory in the final moments of the Harty Cup final on Saturday in Ennis. A Nenagh CBS goal in the dying minutes put an end to Ardscoil’s hopes of winning a first Harty Cup since 2018. John O’Keefe lined out at right corner back while James Finn played just in front on the wing. The lads had a stellar campaign and were unfortunate to just come up short on the day. The Croke Cup is still up for grabs and we’ll all be supporting as Ardscoil try to make a repeat of their 2022 success. Special mention must also go to Eoin Brosnan, Sean Harrington and Ronan Benson who were also on the Ardscoil Ris panel.

3-Year Plan

This Thursday 8th February 7.30 pm in Na Piarsaigh Club, part 2 of building Na Piarsaigh 3 Year Strategy plan will take place. We looking forward to welcoming back everyone as we build out Na Piarsaigh's next chapter.

Under 17 Camogie

Big congratulations to Aoibheann Gardiner, Ava Smith and Lucy Murphy on being selected for the Limerick U17 Camogie Development squad for the 2024 season. This is a great testament to the hard work both the girls and their coaches have put in over the years. We wish them all the best for the season ahead.

Bag Packing

We would like to thank all those that helped out with bag packing in the Jetland on Saturday last. This has been a great little fundraiser for us over the years with very little overheads. Thank you again to all those that contributed their time and to Dunnes for giving us the slots.
