Limerick Senior Hurlers

William O’Donoghue captained Limerick in their win over Dublin on Saturday evening in Croke Park. It was the first run out of the season for both Will and Mike Casey, with the later lining out at full back. Conor Boylan was selected at wing forward. The three Na Piarsaigh men played just under an hour of hurling, with all being substituted on the 56th minute.

Limerick Camogie

Lizanna Boylan lined out at wing forward for the Limerick in their round 1 win over Kerry on Saturday afternoon. A proud day for the Boylan family and all in Na Piarsaigh as Lizzie’s brother Conor lined out in the same position for the hurlers. A comfortable victory for the Treaty women winning on a scoreline of 3-23 to 1-04.

Schools Hurling – Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh

More plaudits are due to Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh on their win in the u17 Corn Gearoid O'Beineid (Gerry Bennis) beating Colaiste Ide agus Iosef, Abbeyfeale on a score line of 3-17 to 2-17. Our own Danny Sheehan chipped in with 1-10. Well done to Danny and Darragh McCarthy, along with coaches Pat Gleeson and Cathal King. A school making huge strides in hurling with another piece of silverware added to the Liam Kennedy Cup won earlier in the year.

We had Shane Waters, Sean O'Brien, Sean Connolly, Charlie Ryan, Darragh Kirwan, Rian McHugh, Ronan Gleeson & Aodh Keating all involved. Well done lads.

We wish the full panel and management all the best in their attempts to make it back to the Croke Cup final. The Na Piarsaigh men involved are John O’Keefe, James Finn, Ronan Benson, Sean Harrington and Eoin Brosnan.

Underage Hurling and Football Returns!

Our football academy returned last Monday night with a strong attendance. This along with our Saturday morning hurling academy will continue right up to the summer. Once again, registration can be completed via ClubZap and all new comers and beginners are welcome.

A gentle reminder that all coaches are required to ensure their safe guarding / Garda Vetting is up to date in advance of coaching sessions commencing. If in doubt check it out.
