Féile Peile na nÓg & Féile na nGael

Our under 15 footballers went two from two on the first day of the Féile Peile na nÓg last Monday. Our lads were victorious over Dromcollogher Broadford in the opening game on a scoreline of 2-01 to 0-05, while defeating Ballybrown in their second game, winning on a scoreline of 1-07 to 1-04.

The second day of action took place on Saturday in Na Piarsaigh. We beat Newcastle West in our first game on a scoreline of 1-07 to no score, while in the final game of the group we lost to Adare by 2 points. Final score Na Piarsaigh 0-01, Adare 0-03. By virtue of winning 3 out of 4 games, we topped our group. The semi-finals and final will take place on the 13th of April with further details to be issued soon. We done to all involved and we wish the group all the best in their preparation over the coming weeks.

Our under 15 hurlers compete in the Féile na nGael next Saturday in Ballybrown. Our first games sees us play the hosts at 10am. Kilmallock will be our second opponents, throwing in at 11. Our last group game will be against Mungret. This throws in at 12. We would like to wish the team and management all the best and encourage as many of our members and friends to get out and support the lads.

A massive thank you to our sponsors of both teams, MGM Capital, Finbar Conlon & Clondrinagh Motor Centre.
