Great Limerick Run 2024

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who volunteered on behalf of Na Piarsaigh for the Great Limerick Run on the May Bank Holiday Weekend. We had 20 volunteers, each raising €60 per person, and in turn a total of €1,200.00 for Na Piarsaigh. Special mention to Seoirse Laffan who once again assembled a great team. We look forward to seeing ye all back next year for what promises to be another brilliant weekend for the city and our north side community.

Tom Flanagan, Cathal, Peter, Conor, Niamh & Orlaith Sheehan stationed on Parkview Drive.

Jean & Dave Murray on Merval Drive
Tom McEvoy & Bernie Buckley at Fortmary Park on the NCR. Shane O'Neill and Michelle in the background.
Tom Quinn, Stephen Barry and Frank Hodnett manning the Westfields Triangle. (I'd nearly swear Tom is ready to wave a wide ball somehow..)
Brendan O'Neill stewarding the Ennis Road.
Lavinia & the O'Leary family looking after the runners on the Ennis Road. Talk that Lavinia didn't let anyone out from The Woodfield until the Monday..
Bertie Lynch an ever present steward on the Ennis Road for each edition of the GLR.
Peter Boylan once again stationed at the top triangle on the NCR this year.
Ger Downes looking after the runners on the Ennis Road.
Water station on Corrib Drive. Paddy Moriarty was certainly enjoying it!
Oliver Nevin & ever present steward Norman Kehilly manning the top triangle on the NCR. Nice shades Norman.
Dave Power looking after the runners outside Ardscoil Ris
An unidentified Na Piarsaigh Underage coach doing a sub 3 hour Marathon. (Joe Laffan of course!)

Seoirse Laffan accepting a cheque for €1200 on behalf of Na Piarsaigh Volunteer Group for GRL 2024.
