William O’Donoghue and Mike Casey both impressed on Saturday evening as Limerick scored an eight-point win over rivals Cork in the Allianz League. A win or a draw in our last game against Galway will seal Limerick’s place in the league final. Said game with Galway will take place in the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday the 21st of March at 7pm.
Intermediate Football League
Our intermediate footballers kick off their league campaign at home to Pallasgreen next Friday night at 7.45 under lights. This is a great opportunity to get down to support our lads as they get their season underway.
Club Executive Update
It was reported that our generator to power the floodlights had a full overhaul recently at a cost of €6,000. The generator was out of action for the best part of 3 weeks but we’re pleased to have it back in working order again. Our lights are an invaluable asset to Na Piarsaigh and will require further maintenance going forward as issues with bulbs and the generator arise. Thank you to Pat O’Neill and Martin Waters for their efforts.
John Hogan has been ratified as Junior B football manager for 2026 and we wish John and his management team all the best for the season ahead.
Limerick Underage
Dean Ryan was between the sticks for the Limerick Minor Footballers as they defeated Wexford in the Leinster GAA Minor Football Developmental League 2026 Tier 2 Final.
Seán Ryan and Liam Sheehan represented Na Piarsaigh well on Saturday playing their first U15 challenge game against Tipp. Paddy McCaul also lined out for the Limerick second team, also doing the club proud. At U16, we have 6 players involved in Charlie Ryan, Cian Moore, George Stack, Joe Daly, Ronan Gleeson and Ross O’Flanagan. While at U14 we have 3 Na Piarsiagh men representing us in Evan Waters, Conor Flanagan and Luke Hartnett. We wish all the lads the very best for the season ahead.

Dressing Rooms Refurbishment
A letter from Shane Dowling to all members on behalf of the dressing rooms sub-committee.
Hi All,
I have taken on the task of updating our dressing rooms, which are important to us, and it should be a place where we can all be proud. It should be a place where other teams and counties come and see the standards and pride we have in our club. We all need to do a better job on the upkeep of our dressing rooms, and in recent times, I think we can all do better. I have assembled a team to take on this task to ensure we look at every part of it. Some of the exciting things we will be doing are as follows: Na Piarsaigh Photo Wall, Club Crests Artistically put on some walls, external lighting fixed, men’s and ladies toilets re-done, dressing rooms, showers, heating, etc.
What’s really important to us on this project is that we will be doing a material-cost-only project and asking members who are specialists in their field to give a hand. If any of the following people can give a hand over the next few weeks, please reach out as soon as possible. · Carpenter/Builder/Handy Man · Cleaning Company · Electrician (We have one looking for one more)
Please note the following: Phase1 - Date: Good Friday April 3rd. Time: 3pm We will want 15-20 volunteers to do a deep cleaning of the dressing rooms- Showers, Toilets, Floors, Prep Walls for paint etc.
Phase 2 - Date: April 11th/April 12th. We will need 25-30 volunteers (or More), from the oldest to the youngest, to be there from 11-5 Saturday and 10-3 Sunday to complete the painting in one weekend.
On the weekend of the painting and completion, the suggestion is that we will all go into the clubhouse for some sandwiches washed down with a liquid of your choice. We may even have a potential sponsor for this!
Looking forward to seeing you all. Nap Abu, Shane Dowling, Kevin Downes, Brian Buckley, Martin Waters.
